Ciao a tutti, spero che possiate aiutarmi, potendo utilizzare il Canon 100-400 L IS USM + moltiplicatore 1,4 kenko + 6D o 70D.
Cerco suggerimenti per ottenere il meglio dalle due combinazioni...

Io posso intervenire per 70d+pompone+kenko 1,4x e posso dire che per mia esperienza è si utilizzabile, ma a patto di condizioni di buono e ottimo contrasto. Funziona tranquillamente a tutta apertura (f8) con tutti i punti AF e in modalità ai servo. Il miglior funzionamento l'ho riscontrato utilizzando l'AF in modalità zona. Non è impeccabile, su soggetti statisti mette a fuoco istantaneamente come con la lente liscia, ma conta che stenta a mettere a fuoco 2 volte su 10.
Per soggetti difficili come uccelli in volo a gran distanza è meno usabile e se le foto sono importanti ti consiglio di non usarlo, mentre per soggetti veloci e relativamente vicini l'unico modo per avere una foto nitida è affidarsi al fattore C.

Si ma i risultati come sono? cioè io devo decidere tra 100-400 "pompone" e tamron 150-600: il "pompone" con l'1,4 x è superiore o inferiore al tamron?

Ho avuto il pompone ma non il tamron, ma da quanto postato qui sembra che il tamron abbia almeno la qualità del pompone liscio a tutte le focali, quindi immagino che con tc perda ulteriormente..

Ho sostituito il pompone con il tamron 150-600 su canon 5d mark 3 . lo trovo leggermente superiore ( più luminoso, più nitido, stabilizzazione migliore) e poi non devo usare i moltiplicatori

100-400mm coin extender 1.4x? naaaaaa Confuso
Valuta il big-tamron a questo punto : 150-600mm con af più veloce del pompone con extender .
