È una località molto interessante per fotografare avifauna. Il percorso che costeggia il lago è lungo e bellissimo. C'è molto rispetto tra chi lo frequenta. La passerella sul lago è il punto forte del tragitto alla ricerca di uccelli acquatici. D'inverno, con temperature sotto zero e vento, sulla passerella è meglio starci poco. A metà febbraio 2018 (mezza giornata) abbiamo visto e fotografato le seguenti specie di uccelli: chiurlo maggiore, gabbiani, smergo maggiore, quattrocchi, tuffetto, folaga, canapiglia, alzavola, germano reale, edredone, gazza, passero comune, passera mattugia, storno, poiana. Diverse altre specie sono segnalate in zona nello stesso periodo. Attrezzatura necessaria teleobiettivo da 300 in avanti.
