Zeiss Milvus strani prezzi

meditando sul prendere un grandangolo definitivo stavo vedendo gli zeiss Milvus 18 e 15 f2.8, scopro che nuovi esiste una rimarchevole differenza di prezzo su amazon il 18 mm costa 1.952,96€ mentre il 15 mm 1.399,05€, mi sarei aspettato l'opposto e comunque mi chiedo il 18mm è molto meglio come resa visto il prezzo? qualcosa mi sfugge?

Il 18 è "meglio" perché è un progetto completamente nuovo, il 15 invece ha lo stesso schema ottico dei vecchi ;-)

Fossi in te prenderei il 14/1,8 Sigma.
Va bene quanto i due sopracitati, è più grandangolare di entrambi, vanta quattro DIN in più in termini di luminosità e credo costi anche meno.

La mia opinione: sono ottiche che hanno fatto il loro tempo, oggi si trova di meglio a molto meno.
Confrontai il 18 milvus con il 20 sony e il 18 samyang, meglio il secondo, confronto impietoso, sia come nitidezza che come comportamento in controluce. Persino il samyang che costa 1/6 andava meglio, a parte i bordi estremi a ta.
A parte il bel logo zeiss e la bella sensazione in mano vedo pochi motivi di prendere quelle lenti oggi.
Il milvus 15/2.8 non ha mai avuto buona fama.

Leggo spesso di ottiche provenienti da marchi un tempo considerati produttori per dimoranti in imballo per frigorifero mentre ora pur mantenendo prezzi abbordabili son diventati strumenti per vere poesie,

allora mi chiedo: chi compera quelli di marchi blasonati/molto blasonati pagandoli delle cifre sostanziose sono solo dei nostalgici micci? Sono capaci di vederne ancora il valore? Oppure non acquistano gli ex-barbon perché poi la rivendita ti costringe col doverli cedere con grande perdita pena tenerselo a vita?
