Ciao,

a volte mi capita di riscontrare un problema con questa lente.
Quando cerco di mettere a fuoco sento il motorino che fa tic-tic-tic ma la messa a fuoco non cambia e sul display appare il triangolino.
Se sposto la messa a fuoco manualmente con la ghiera e metto a fuoco, quando premo il pulsante di scatto a metà, rileva che è correttamente a fuoco e sul display appare il pallino.
Alcune volte la messa a fuoco avviene correttamente altre continua a fare tic-tic-tic ma non si sposta.
Lo utilizzo con una Nikon D7200 e con altre lenti non ho riscontrato questo problema.
Dite che può essere un guasto della lente?

Ciao, per conferma sarebbe da provare su di un altro corpo macchina...
Se lo fa ugualmente direi che si tratta di un guasto alla lente.

Provato anche su altro corpo e medesimo problema quindi mandato in riparazione.

Mi chiedono, per la sostituzione della meccanica AF e pulizia generale, 350€.

Sono molto indeciso.

A suo tempo era un obiettivo interessante, adesso però 350 Euro non sono pochi per un obiettivo così vecchio.
E se poi, tra qualche mese, si rompe qualcos'altro?

Io ho speso 250 Euro per il gruppo AF + IS di un Canon 70-200 f2.8 IS II, ma è un obiettivo più recente e di una classe diversa, non credo che spenderei 350 Euro per un vecchio Sigma.

Era una lente buona (a suo tempo) ma onestamente io non ci spenderei quella cifra per farlo riparare. Piuttosto cercherei un più moderno 100-400 C usato che è un pò meno luminoso ma maggior escursione focale lato lungo ed è pure un filo più nitido e contrastato per quello che avevo avuto modo di testare a suo tempo (li ho avuti entrambi).
