Sony A9 II conversione file ARW in JPG

Buongiorno,
da poco ho preso una ottima a A9 II avendo già in famiglia una A9.
Nella conversioni dei file ARW in jpg da lightroom ultima versione e camera raw ho notato che il peso in MB dei file è parecchio differente: quando la macchina lavora in raw compresso i jpg hanno un peso di 7/8mb mentre in compresso con le stesse impostazioni i file pesano più del doppio.

I file raw compresso e non compresso ovviamente hanno un peso differente ma come mai questa anomalia nella conversione?

Testato su altre macchine e programmi da sempre lo stesso risultato.

Ogni conversione che nasce da un raw non compresso genera un file jpg che pesa la metà rispetto agli stessi passaggi ma con un file raw compresso.

Con A9 nessuno di questi problemi.

Merita un ritorno alla configurazione iniziale e poi aggiornare il firm?

Effettivamente è strano. Lr, come prima cosa, deve decomprimere il raw, quindi il fatto che sia compresso è irrilevante; al processo di conversione viene sempre dato in pasto un raw non compresso. Ci potrebbero essere piccolissime differenze dovute alla perdita, minima, di informazioni dovuta alla compressione con perdita.

Se confermato e garantito che il processo è identico (e sempre di un raw 6000x4000 si tratta) partirei con l'abbassare la qualità di uscita; immagino tu utilizzi 100 (mantenendo sempre 6000x4000). Prova ad abbassare a 76 per vedere se le cose si pareggiano. Se le differenze rimangono importanti si indaga ulteriormente.
