Grandangolare sigma 17-35 d EX non hsm: dubbio su quale è meglio (o meno peggio ;) )

Ciao a tutti. Ho bisogno di un consiglio: ho acquistato un sigma 17-35 hsm (che se non ricordo male ha la lente frontale da 76) e mi sono visto recapitare un EX non hsm (quello per intenderci, con la lente da 82). La mia domanda è semplice: a parte che non è modo di vendere e di conseguenza sono molto indirizzato ad effettuare il reso, qualcuno sa dirmi quali dei due modelli offre una migliore resa? oggi ho fatto qualche scatto con questo e sinceramente non sono rimasto particolarmente entusiasta, ma non vorrei che mi viene offerto il reso con sostituzione con l'hsm, e mi ritrovo che è peggio di questo. Altra richiesta è se il 12-24 (4.5-5.6) hsm, potrebbe essere migliore, o se c'è qualche altra lente economica che mi potreste consigliare. Il corpo macchina è una d800E e l'utilizzo che ne farei è sia prettamente naturalistico, che architettonico, con qualche capatina anche al chiuso (poche).
