AF Tamron 70-300 Vc Usd non funzionante!

Salve a tutti. Dopo 4 mesi ho ripreso in mano il Tamron 70-300 per fare qualche foto, ma mi sono accorto che l Autofocus non funziona, è come morto. Premendo il pulsante di messa a fuoco, nel mirino si vede illuminarsi anche il punto di Maf,che lampeggia, ma il motore Af non si attiva. Si sente solo un "rumorino" molto flebile quando provo a mettere a fuoco,a patto di portare l obbiettivo vicino all orecchio, sennò non è percepibile.
L ultima volta che ho usato l obbiettivo l ho lasciato che era tutto perfettamente funzionante. Durante questo periodo di inutilizzo l ho tenuto nello zaino. Inoltre è stato utilizzato pochissimo,sempre tenuto e maneggiato con cura, infatti esteticamente è come nuovo.
È successo a qualcuno di voi? Qualcuno sa quale può essere la causa? Conoscete qualche "manovra casereccia" per poterlo riportare in funzione? Perché dubito si possa essere danneggiato da fermo. Vi ringrazio anticipatamente e vi auguro buona serata :)

Son graditi pareri anche se avete avuto esperienze simili con altri obbiettivi.

Non ho avuto precedenti simili con obiettivi, ma mi è successo di riprendere una compatta che di colpo non si è più accesa, o pc/stampanti che improvvisamente hanno smesso di funzionare. Purtroppo non sempre si avvertono problemi, con l'elettronica gli strumenti smettono di funzionare senza un motivo particolare.
E nella maggior parte dei casi la riparazione non conviene, come credo nel caso specifico del tuo tamron.

hai già provato a spostare il selettore mf af più volte, per verificare che non ci sia qualche falso contatto?

Lukatkom, si probabilmente è quello che è successo anche nel mio caso. Mi fa un pò strano semplicemente perché era nuovissimo e usato pochissimo.
Chebeltempo, si ho provato più volte a spostare il selettore, provando anche alle varie lunghezze focali.
