Consigli su flash per Nikon d3300

Buon pomeriggio ragazzi, posseggo una Nikon D3300 e il 35mm 1.8, perciò ho un corpo macchina entry level ma che mi dà grandi soddisfazioni con questa lente.
Di recente ho avuto in prestito un flash Neewer 750II (https://www.amazon.it/gp/product/B00GE4MNQA/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) per fare alcuni scatti, anche in notturna, in occasione di una festa di laurea.
Essendo la mia prima volta con un flash esterno, ho avuto l'opportunità di studiarmelo un po' e di metterlo alla prova, ovviamente sempre in TTL.
Ha un numero di guida pari a 58, il che sembrerebbe buono, vedendo i risultati che ho ottenuto con i RAW. L'unica cosa che mi ha dato fastidio è aver dovuto cambiare due volte le pile, nel giro di due giorni.
Purtroppo, però, non possedendo il Neewer, stavo valutando l'acquisto di un flash a basso costo e ho trovato un Meike MK420 su Amazon (https://www.amazon.it/gp/product/B076MR9VWS/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=AQ3ITPWCCKV4M&psc=1), che ha un prezzo davvero allettante (46€, ma alcuni venditori lo danno anche sui 90 circa) e una batteria ricaricabile, ma l'unica cosa che mi frena è il numero di guida più basso (42 a ISO 100 e 100mm, ma sono caratteristiche che in questo momento non saprei interpretare).
La mia domanda è: c'è molta differenza tra i due numeri guida (42 e 58)?
Mi piacerebbe cominciare a divertirmi con il flash, sia in ambienti interni che in ambienti esterni. Mi chiedo se possa effettivamente risentire di questo "downgrade", nonostante l'utilizzo molto limitato del Neewer, soprattutto in foto di gruppo/ritratti all'aperto.
