Lumix gx80 foto fauna consiglio.

Ciao a tutti, premetto sono un amatore non professionista, ho pubblicato due foto per farmi capire meglio (https://www.juzaphoto.com/me.php?p=226642&pg=allphotos&srt=data&l=it) ho una Panasonic Lumix gx80 con lente 14-140mm, in queste due foto ho usato tutta la lunghezza della lente essendo questi soggetti sempre in allerta, quindi ho capito che devo andare sui 300mm, ho visto questa lente direi economica (Lumix G Vario 100-300 mm F/4.0-5.6 II O.I.S. (H-FSA100300)), immagino che una lente 2.8 mi garantisca un dettaglio migliore (a 3 volte il prezzo però), ma io scatto di giorno, cosa ne pensate? Potrei fare un crop sul soggetto post produzione e vedere qulache dettaglio con i soli 16megapixel di questa camera? Ho visto delle belle foto in galleria però nessuno scrive approsimativamente a quanti metri si trovava dal soggetto. In sintesi cosa influisce veramente per avere una foto con dei buoni dettagli?
Questa lente che vorrei prendere ha fatto delle ottime foto ho visto, tipo questa.
