Tamron 20mm o altra lente?

Buongiorno a tutti,
sono un felice possessore di una Sony 6400 con un sony 35 mm F1.8 OSS. Ottima ottica a mio avviso e buona accoppiata.. ma.. mi sono accorto che in vacanza, in una città d'arte come Firenze, il 35mm su una APS-C è troppo spinto e ho "perso" molte foto perchè pensavo che mi bastasse. Quindi pensando a ciò ho fatto le mie considerazioni e volevo abbinarci un grandangolo, non troppo estremo ma un piccola ottica leggere con buone prestazioni.
Ho trovato delle ottime recensioni sul Tamron 20mm F 2.8, un obiettivo che oserei definire: divertente. Permette anche foto Macro che mai ho sperimentato non avendo attrezzatura apposta. In pratica mi sembra un'ottima lente per quello che servirebbe a me. L'unico punto però è che non è un'ottica stabilizzata e sulla mia Sony 6400 non ha la stabilizzazione interna sul corpo macchina. Quindi mi domando.. è davvero così necessaria la stabilizzazione su una lente così? Io tendenzialmente scatto a 1/60 di secondo e per tempi più lunghi ovviamente ho una cavalletto, per i video invece ho un gimbal con stabilizzatore a 3 assi. Conviene come lente visto anche il prezzo così economico oppure meglio puntare su un'altra tipo di lente?
