Io ci sono stato un paio di settimane fa, la situazione è un po' cambiata: proseguendo per la strada e arrivando al lato nord del fiume si arriva a un ampio parcheggio e anche ad un bel campeggio. Per arrivare al fiume si scende da una scalinata in ferro, ma non è qui la parte più interessante. Invece poche Km prima c'è l'indicazione del canyon, si percorre per pochi Km uno sterrato e si arriva ad un ampio nuovo parcheggio, ma a pagamento: 1.000 isk pagabile con Parka. Il cartello di accesso dice che il costo è di 1.000 isk le prime 5 ore e poi 500 isk per ogni ora successiva. Pagando con Parka mi dava invece il pagamento per 24 ore, così noi siamo rimasti con il camper anche la notte, da soli e con vento fortissimo, ed il giorno successivo siamo andati al canyon che si raggiunge con 3/4 Km di stradina sterrata. Naturalmente tantissima gente, ma uno spettacolo unico.
