Olympus 17mm f1.8 problemi di funzionamento

Ho due fotocamere Olympus: una E-M10 III e una E-M5 III .
Ieri mi è arrivato da Amazon un nuovo obiettivo: Olympus 17mm 1.8.
Ecco il problema che ho riscontrato: su E-M10 III la ghiera di commutazione AF/MF funziona perfettamente su tutti i programmi (AUTO/P/A/S/M); su E-M5 III funziona solo su AUTO, mentre su tutti gli altri programmi (P/A/S/M) rimane sempre impostato il MF comunque si posizioni la ghiera di commutazione.
E' normale questo comportamento o devo procedere col reso? Mi date un aiuto? Grazie.

P.S. In effetti sulla pagina d'acquisto l'obiettivo risulterebbe compatibile solo con E-M5 II .

Mi sembra strano che su un corpo vada ed uno no, azzarderei che c'è qualche impostazione errata sulla M5.

Quoto Rcris, è decisamente inverosimile un problema hardware o una incompatibilità. Hai aggiornato i firmware?
