Ho una sony con un tamron g2 attacco canon con il sigma mc11 come adattatore, la messa a fuoco non è il massimo e a volte 200mm non mi bastano, voi al posto mio passereste ad un 100-400?

Dipende anche dalla altre ottiche che possiedi.
E dal tipo di fotografia che fai.
La luminosità è molto importante per te?
Comunque il 100-400 DN è un'ottica eccellente.

faccio quasi esclusivamente paesaggi e ogni tanto qualche foto agli animali domestici, ho un 17-28 tamron e un sony 28-70 (quello kit ciofeca)

bella lente anche costoso il sony 24-105, mi piace anche il 50 sigma art f1.4 per qualche ritratto casuale

con la macro il 100 400 come si comporta? ho comprato il fitlro nisi close up ma esco pazzo per la messa fuoco con il tamron 70 200 g2

Se fai quasi solo paesaggi il 100-400 sigma è la lente semplicemente perfetta.
Per far macro penso che non ci sia lente meno adatta al mondo, tra ingombro e AF.

Io ha avuto sia il Tamron G2 che il Sigma ART 70-200.
Con MC-11.
Ottima ottiche ma mattoni.
Il Sigma pesa molto meno.
Non so come va col Nisi ma, liscio, è molto preciso e veloce.
La maf minima è ridotta alle focali più basse ed aumenta alle più lunghe.
Conserva comunque un ottimo rapporto di riproduzione.

Per il 24-105, non posso che parlarne splendidamente bene.
Per i ritratti potresti valutare il Samyang 75 1.8.
Ne parlano molto bene e non è un mattone come il Sigma.
Poi l'MC-11 non ti servirebbe più e potresti venderlo.
Ho usato per anni ottiche adattate con MC-11 ma oggi, con il parco ottiche disponibile, credo se ne possa tranquillamente fare a meno.

Ma un 70-300mm sony o tamron sulla tua Sony A7 III (FF) non sarebbero più intriganti visto che hai accennato a riprese di animali domestici e non selvatici? Cool

Sigma 100-400mm f/5-6.3 DG DN OS C ? ottima scelta Cool

Mentre a livello di nitidezza? Il g2 è una bomba, mi sono trovato sempre benissimo come qualità delle foto.
Confrontandolo con il 100-400 sigma a livello di nitidezza chi vince tra i due?

Ellemme, ho visto i link che hai mandato, sembra cheol sigma sia più nitido e ha meno abberazioni cromatiche del 70 200 g2 o mi sbaglio?

è molto probabile che il sigma sia più nitido del tamron, quel sigma è al livello del canon 100-400 is2 che è un riferimento per quel tipo di lenti.

Il confronto col Canon II non lo farei.
Almeno per aspetti che non riguardano la nitidezza pura.
Tieni comunque presente che il nuovo DN è appunto nuovo, quindi schema ottico riprogettato e a detta di molti superiore al modello precedente.
Sul sito Sigma puoi trovare i grafici MTF e, per quello che può valere, confrontarli.
