Domanda su sistema CLS di Nikon

Ciao una domanda su pilotaggio flash Nikon in modalità Master/Slave per chi conosce il sistema, la mia esperienza si limita a un flash Nikon in modalità Slave pilotato dal flash incorporato di un corpo che supporta la modalità Commander. Se prendo un corpo macchina serie Z o non ho il flash integrato o se c'è non può fare da commander per il sistema ottico.

La domanda è: se prendo un altro flash Nikon compatibile col sistema ottico (SB-700/800/900/910/5000) lo monto sulla macchina impostato in modalità Master e quello remoto in modalità Slave funziona il tutto anche senza che la macchina abbia la modalità commander?

Poi, se come penso la risposta è si, quello montato nella macchina scatta e partecipa all'esposizione o c'è modo di impostarlo perché non partecipi all'esposizione? (nei corpi reflex con flash integrato è possibile, fa solo un lampo debole per attivare il remoto ma non influisce sensibilmente nell'esposizione) In caso contrario servirebbe per forza un SU-800.
