Xh1 e pixel difettoso

Ciao a tutti mi sono appena accorto di avere un problema sulla h1 a causa di un puntino rosso che ho notato sia nel mirino che sul display. Ho subito pensato a un pixel difettoso. Allora leggendo qua e là ho appreso che la mappatura del display avrebbe potuto risolvere (mascherando) il problema.
Ieri sera ho provato a fare degli scatti di prova con il tappo copri sensore sulla macchina e i raw creati sembrano non avere più problemi, ma mi riservo una prova più approfondita nel fine settimana spero.
Però volevo chiedere: il puntino rosso ancora rimane a display e nel mirino, nonostante la mappatura; pertanto la domanda è "ma la mappatura ha effetto solo sul raw salvato o dovrei avere il beneficio anche nel display/mirino?" Nel secondo caso sarà bene che verifico meglio cosa avviene nei nuovi raw dopo la mappatura e se il puntino rimane (magari c'è ancora ma non l'ho visto...).

Non ho esperienza in merito ma la mappatura pixel intervenendo sul sensore dovrebbe risolvere il problema. Strano, secondo me, che in seguito visualizzi ancora il pixel rosso sia su display che nel mirino visto che dovrebbe essere una visualizzazione del sensore. Che ambedue, display e mirino, abbiano lo stesso problema (pixel del display e pixel del mirino) mi sembra improbabile.
