Riconoscimento Sigma 18-200 su dpp4 per Canon

Buongiorno a tutti. Sono un novellino del forum per cui portate pazienza. Possiedo una Canon 1300d con relativo obiettivo 18_55 e per un anno me lo sono fatto bastare, cominciando a fare foto in RAW e cominciando a giocare con il software di Canon Digital Photo Professional. Da qualche giorno ho comprato un (ottimo a mio parere) obiettivo Sigma 18-200 DC OS C. Lo vendono giustamente come compsatibile Canon solo che il DPP non me lo riconosce per cui mi perdo le regolazioni su aberrazione cromatica e correzione della distorsione che tanto mi piacciono. Qualcuno ha risolto in qualche modo il problema o mela devo mettere via che la cosa non è possibile? Ho provato ad aggiornare il firmware, il software è tutto cio' che umanamente mi è venuto in mente..... ma niente, non ne sono venuto a capo. Avete suggerimenti a riguardo? Grazie in anticipo

Sono spiacente di deluderti ma canon DPP riconosce solo gli obbiettivi canon...quindi il tuo non è un problema cio è perfettamente normale e non esiste nessuna soluzione a parte cambiare di sw e usare LR, DxO, C1 ecc...

Vi è da fare una precisazione sulle ottiche non Canon: queste ultime vengono dichiarate compatibili solo dai loro costruttori, ma Canon non esegue alcun test in accoppiata alle proprie fotocamere, e tantomeno garantisce il supporto per digital photo professional.

Peraltro, è bene disattivare i profili anche lato fotocamera, quando si utilizzano ottiche non Canon, onde evitare che vengano erroneamente applicate delle correzioni studiate per ottiche Canon, che possono causare la comparsa di artefatti nelle anteprime delle foto che appaiono sullo schermo posteriore, nonché sui file jpeg generati dalla fotocamera.

Hbd	sent on 23 Gennaio 2020 (15:48) Sulla 1300d vi è un'opzione relativa alla correzione dell'illuminazione periferica, tra i vari menu: con ottiche non Canon è meglio disattivarla.
