Nikon 200-500: corretto utilizzo del VR

Salve, mi date qualche consiglio sul corretto utilizzo del VR su questo splendido obiettivo?
Dalla descrizione del sito Nikon mi sembra chiaro l'utilizzo della funzione SPORT : "Il modo SPORT VR assicura un'immagine del mirino stabile durante le riprese in movimento ad alta velocità. Consente inoltre di ottenere una frequenza fotogrammi in sequenza e un ritardo allo scatto simili a quelli possibili quando il sistema VR è disattivato. Utilizzare il modo SPORT VR per catturare con precisione soggetti in movimento come i volatili o gli sport con azioni veloci."
Quindi la modalità NORMAL sarebbe da utilizzare per scatti statici senza treppiedi e infine il VR va disattivato se l'obiettivo è utilizzato con il treppiede? E' corretto o nell'uso quotidiano avete verificato qualcosa di diverso? Grazie, saluti.

Mah, io per i volatili (fermi o in volo) utilizzo la posizione "Normal" e non la "Sport".
Secondo me (proprio secondo me) la posizione "Sport" stabilizza i movimenti verticali e non quelli orizzontali, mentre la posizione "Normal" stabilizza sia i movimenti verticali, sia quelli orizzontali.

Il VR sport stabilizza solo verticalmente, permette quindi di fare panning ecc
Si risparmia inoltre un po' di batteria

ho utilizzato entrambe le impostazioni...ma non saprei dirti dagli scatti quale migliore e/o peggiore.
Mi riservo di riprovarle... Confuso
