Primo tele, Tamron 70-300 o Canon 70-200 pensando anche al portafogli

Prossimamente vorrei acquistare un teleobiettivo, lente che al momento mi manca, e sono indeciso tra
Tamron 70-300mm f/4-5.6 Di VC USD - 230/250€ usato
Canon EF 70-200mm f/4L USM - 400€ usato
Il Canon è già fuori budget, ma lo sto considerando visto che in molti lo consigliano dato il prezzo usato relativamente basso.
Mi rendo conto che su aps-c il Canon risulti ancora più lungo, il che potrebbe essere un pro secondo me, e che non è la versione stabilizzata, quello che vorrei capire però è se vale davvero la pena spendere quei 160€ in più rispetto al Tamron.
Come ho già scritto nel titolo la differenza di prezzo per me pesa, ma se la qualità del Canon è nettamente superiore potrei anche farci il pensiero.
Qualche consiglio?
