Tamron 70-200 G2 + 1,4x per fotografia sportiva su Canon 7D mark II

Ciao a tutti!
Leggo spesso questo forum ma solo oggi mi sono deciso a postare qualcosa.

Faccio fotografia sportiva di auto e moto in un piccolo circuito del centro Italia. Finora ho lavorato ( abbastanza bene ) con Canon 7D mark II e 70-200 f/4 IS.
Il problema è che il 70-200 f/4 IS mi è caduto e ho deciso che ripararlo non è conveniente.

Per la prossima stagione vorrei quindi acquistare un nuovo obiettivo, per adesso l'interesse è sul Tamron 70-200 f/2.8 G2 in accoppiata col moltiplicatore Tamron 1.4x.
Diciamo che questa combo sarebbe usata per oltre il 70%-80% del lavoro, il resto potrei usare soltanto il 70-200 senza moltiplicatore.

Il mio diaframma di lavoro è da f/5,6 in sù (finora non potevo fare diversamente con il vecchio 70-200 f/4 IS...), ovviamente data la mole di scatti che comporta una giornata non riesco a lavorare in Raw ma soltanto in Jpeg.

L'alternativa potrebbe essere il Canon 100-400 II che dovrebbe garantire un'ottima qualità oltre alla focale più lunga (che sarebbe molto comoda), quello che mi "ferma" è il diaframma non fisso e siccome lavoro in manuale, adeguando l'esposizione poche volte in una giornata in base ai cambiamenti di luce, con il 100-400 dovrei cambiare metodo di lavoro e passare alla priorità di diaframma.

Ho fatto foto sportiva con Nikon 70.200 f4, 0ttimo. Con Nikon 70.200 f2.8 ottimo. Con Canon 70.200 f.4 ottimo. Con tamron 70.200 f2.8 ottimo per tutto ma scarso per foto sportiva. Af lento ed indeciso peso mostruoso.
Ottimo invece in altri usi, ritratto paesaggio....
Dato che hai Canon 7d, Canon 70 200 f4 tutta la vita.
Piccoli leggeri costruiti con materiali eccellenti costano il giusto....

Se fai foto sportive con moltiplicatori io rimarrei sugli originali... Con le terze parti non si sa mai come va a finire (costo permettendo, ovvio).
