Ciao a tutti, da poco nel mondo Olympus essendo soddisfatto dei risultati volevo completare il mio corredo. Ho un 9-18 leggerissimo per paesaggi e montagna e 40-150.

Volevo un grandangolare standard per viaggi e uso generale, il 12-40 mi ispira tantissimo, second voi è la scelta migliore anche per comodità o ci sono soluzioni migliori coi fissi? Il budget è quello per il 12-40, circa 600 €.

Hai già due zoom che in parte andrebbero a sovrapporsi con un terzo. Fossi in te per quella cifra, ma anche molto meno se cerchi nell'usato, un 17 1.8 e un 45 1.8 può essere la coppia di fissi che pesano molto meno di un 12-40 pro per le occasioni con poca luce, dove spesso 2.8 non basta comunque.
Magari con un secondo corpo piccolo può essere un set tuttofare alternativo al 12-40

Dipende...io andrei di fissi perché sono più compatti...ad esempio il 45 1.8 come rapporto qualità costo è imbattibile a cui puoi affiancare o il 12 o il 17 (zuiko) o il 15 (panaleica).
Comunque il 12-40 è altrettanto ottimo, e se hai em-1 è perfettamente bilanciato.

Ps klasse per te sulla mia macchina è molto sbilanciato lo zoom? Io fotografo sostenendo con due mani La macchina, come fosse un classico corpo reflex più pesante

Secondo me sulla M10 per bilanciare bene il 12-40 pro dovresti prendere il grip.

Su M10 andrei di fissi il 17 1.8 zuiko oppure il 15 1.7 panaleica (costicchia un po' di più) ed il 45 1.8.
12-40 è un po' sbilanciato senza il grip (ma utilizabilissimo comunque).

Concordo. Ho il 12-40 su Pana GX80: non è maneggevole come lo è con il 12-32 o il 20 f/1.7, però si può usare senza problemi (e il 12-40 è davvero un bell'obiettivo!).

Ho la gx7 con PL 12-60 simile al 12-40 come dimensioni. Ho anche il PL 25 e il Sigma 60.
Non riuscirei a scegliere al momento tra i fissi e lo zoom.
I fissi hanno più carattere e ti impongono di fotografare in un certo modo rendendo meno banale l'atto fotografico, lo zoom è più comodo e risolve tutto.

Da un Latoi fissi mi intrigano, dall altra se il 12-40 è di ottima qualità sarebbe un tipo di ottica con cui sono più abituato avendo usato su Canon il 17-40 è su apsc il 17-55.

Con il 40-150 e lo zoomche possiedo sarei coperto con due lenti da 24 mm a 300 equivalenti.

Alla fine trovando due buoni usati ho preso 45 1.8 e 17 1.8.. mi sembran due belle lenti e i fissi ti costringono a studiare di più lo scatto

Anche io posseggo la m10 mark III con il 12-40 il 17 e 45. Utilizzo lo zoom solo nei viaggi ma per tutto il resto utilizzo i fissi perchè sono eccezionali. Quindi ottima scelta!
