nuovo obiettivo per canon eos 1000d

Salve, sono un appassionato di fotografia e sono possessore di una canon eos 100d con obiettivo del kit 18-55(lo standard kit).
Vorrei acquistare un obiettivo con più zoom, per esempio un 55-250mm, ma non vorrei fare un acquisto sbagliato..
Essendo un corpo macchina economico, non vorrei comprare un obiettivo che montato sulla mia non rende come dovrebbe e quindi sarebbero soldi sprecati...
Io ho mirato a un canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 II (prezzo su amazon 219 nuovo?)

Brancolo un pò nel buoi, mi dareste una mano?

Non conosco gli obiettivi Canon, ma da quello che ho spesso letto qui sul forum, è meglio un buon obbiettivo su un corpo macchina mediocre (o comunque non dei più performanti) che un corpo macchina top e un obiettivo economico e "niente di che".... Quindi io direi di andare tranquillo, non penso sia un pessimo obiettivo avendo già un f/4 costante.. Sorriso
