Buongiorno a tutti! Sono nuovo nel forum ma leggo da tanto tempo le discussioni sui vari argomenti!
Fotografo da circa 1 anno e ho ancora moltissimo da imparare e per questo chiedo consiglio a voi più esperti!

Io possiedo una Nikon D300s e come obiettivo un ultragrandangolare della Sigma 10-20 f/3,5 che mi da un sacco di soddisfazioni, facendo principalmente fotografia di paesaggio. In questi mesi ho sperimentato anche la fotografia notturna e, pur sapendo che f/3,5 non è proprio il massimo, sono riuscito ad ottenere dei risultati soddisfacenti.

A febbraio andrò in Islanda e con l'occasione dovrei vedere anche l'aurora boreale (dico dovrei perché 2 anni fa sono stato in Lapponia ed era nuvoloso tutto il tempo..) e ovviamente vorrei fotografarla. Che obiettivo consigliate per l'occasione? Un ultragrandangolare lo possiedo già e anche se non è il più indicato per questo tipo di fotografia dato il valore f di 3,5, non vorrei sostituirlo e pensavo di passare ad un range di focale più ristretto, sopra i 20 insomma, in modo da utilzizarlo anche per altre cose.

Essendo ancora non molto esperto, non voglio spendere cifre esorbitanti per qualcosa che poi non saprei bene come sfruttare perché troppo avanzato. Diciamo che sarei disposto a spendere intorno ai 600-700 euro.

Ho trovato in rete il Sigma 18-35 f/1,8 e mi sembrava un buon compromesso ma lascio parlare voi.
