apertura con il rear command dial x100f

Salve,
appena acquistato la x100f..ho notato che posso cambiare apertura e tempo di posa col rear command dial solo quando la gamma dinamica non è in automatico. Mi spiego meglio: ho impostato automatico su diaframma e tempo di Posa. Ho notato che così parte il mode P (programma)..poi ho letto sul manuale che si poteva cambiare apertura anche con la ghiera posteriore..però lo fa solo se imposto la gamma dinamica su 100,200, o 400 e non su Auto

come mai? non posso lasciare automatico la gamma dinamica e cambiare apertura con il rear dial?

sul manuale mi dice che posso farlo, ma non specifica della gamma dinamica auto..
