Ho da poco questa lente che ho preso nuova e ho notato che soffre terribilmente di flare.
Addirittura di notte con luci laterali capta che generi un flare evidente.
Ovviamente con il suo paraluce migliora, però girare con il paraluce di notte mi sembra eccessivo.
Comunque di giorno il flare è piuttosto invadente e una foto in controluce non è facile da fare, se non metti il sole dietro qualcosa qualsi impossibile.
La vostra esperienza?

il paraluce lo uso sempre, anche di notte per evitare le luci laterali, ma non ricordo tutti questi problemi con il flare.
usi filtri protettivi?

Non so come caricare foto in questa discussione, però di giormo in controluce si ottiene un flare evidente come ad es. in questa foto che ho trovato inline

Anche se chiudo bene il diaframma nn riesco ad avere una nitidezza come questa ad es.

Stessa cosa di notte dove si aggiunge un gosting fatto da linee orizzontali se c'è una sorgente luminosa (tipo lampione) da un lato.
Quello che vorrei capire è se è normale, visto che l'obiettivo di listino non è economico e dovrebbe avere buone prestazioni.
Girare con il paraluce di notte mi sembra esagerato, ma anche di giorno passi molto meno inosservato...

Il paraluce serve proprio per le luci laterali. Oltre a proteggere la lente frontale da urti. Poi su 18-55 non è enorme, c'è di peggio.

Dici che con un filtro UV la situazione migliora?
è comunque consigliabile?

no spesso peggiora, da usare solo se serve proteggere la lente frontale da urti, sassi ecc...
