poi mi pare che Hogan tocchi dei punti interessanti e anche i grafici di vendita lo sono.
ad esempio

"And clearly DSLR sales are going to go down, regardless of what happens with mirrorless. Why? Because most people don't need something better than a 24mp full frame DSLR so are reluctant to do any more upgrading, and highly competent DSLRs have been produced for some time now."

le vendite di DSLR sarebbero in calo anche senza la concorrenza delle ML ma soprattutto - espando la frase di Hogan con un esempio - il problema del settore fotografico è che se un iPhone del 2008 e l'iPhone X sono due mondi a parte, il salto tecnologico è palese, innegabile, visibile e sostanziale.
Ma tra una 5D II e una 5D IV?
Il mercato doveva contrarsi per forza e proprio per questa ragione: per quanto il digitale abbia infuso tecnologia nella fotografia, il risultato finale - la foto - resta ancorato alla tecnica e non alla tecnologia (che nei modelli di punta di 10 anni fa come quello dell'esempio fatto era già ad altissimo livello).
Nell'articolo ci sono altre osservazioni secondo me interessanti, ve le lascio spulciare ;-)
