Non tutte le ottiche apsc si comportano in modo uguale. Alcune coprono decentemente il formato pieno, magari non a tutta apertura, altre fanno il classico oblò rendendo necessario il Crop. Usate in modalità dx, si comportano semplicemente come una apsc con i mp risultanti del taglio.
