Posso solo confermare quanto scritto, aggiungendo che a livello faunistico è possibile vedere anche il pinguino blu, tra i più piccoli al mondo. Io ho avuto la fortuna di questo incontro. Visitato in agosto 2011, nel pieno di un inverno particolarmente rigido seppur avaro di precipitazioni. C'è chi torna col mal d'Africa, io sono tornato col mal d'Aotearoa, che prima o poi cercherò di guarire definitivamente, spero!

io ho avuto la fortuna di stare per 5 mesi nell'isola del sud... milford sound è stato il culmine del mio viaggio... ho avuto la fortuna di vederlo al mattino presto con le nubi e al pomeriggio con un sole accecante... peccato solo di non aver avuto in primis la tecnica giusta... e poi i giusti obbiettivi per poter fare foto decenti
