Salve, premetto che sono alle prime armi che il flash. Ho da poco acquistato un Neewer NW690 MK950II su Amazon. Ho montato il flash sulla Canon 80D ed ho iniziato a fare qualche prova. La prima cosa ce ho notato è che il flash viene venduto come ETTL mentre una volta accesso compare, nel display, la scritta TTL (non so se è solo una questione di visualizzazione). L'altra cosa che ho notato è che, proprio nella modalità TTL, le foto vengono sempre sotto-esposte. Le prove le ho fatte con un 24mm STM, sempre a f2.8. Ho fatto prove in una stanza piccola illuminata da una luce neon. Se ad esempio imposto i tempi su 1/250 ed iso 800 noto che il soggetto (distante 2-3 metri) risulta sempre sotto-esposto. Se invece alzo gli iso intorno ai 1600 le foto vengono bene ma ovviamente con più rumore. Essendo alle prime armi volevo chiedere se è normale che debba tenere un valore iso così alto anche con flash esterno o se sto sbagliando qualcosa. Inoltre noto che nella messa fuoco prima dello scatto non viene emesso nessun pre-flash quando in teoria, leggendo in molti forum e guide, il falsh ettl emette un pre-flash prima dello scatto per assicurarsi una corretta esposizione, da Wikipedia: "L'E-TTL utilizzava un pre-flash per una misurazione accurata della luminosità, e il preesistente sistema autofocus per valutare dove si trovasse il soggetto, in maniera da esporre nella maniera più accurata possibile rispetto ad esso."
