Aiuto per flash

Salve ho un flash metz 48af-1 x Canon ,ma essendo passato a Nike non d 7100 ho provato a sfruttarlo in slave ma non sono riuscito.volevo sapere da chi è più esperto conviene accantonarlo e prenderne uno dedicato nikon ? O c'è un modo per sfruttarlo con la mia nuova macchina?

Forse potresti usarlo in manuale dal momento che messo sulla slitta riceve comunque l'impulso per emettere il lampo.
Riguardo all'utilizzo in slave credo che se non è compatibile sia un po' difficile possa funzionare

Dici che sulla slitta della macchina in manuale dovrebbe andare,ho visto che hanno anche fu aggiornabile e c'è per nikon

Ciao! Tra Nikon e Canon cambiano proprio le posizioni dei contatti elettrici sul piedino.... L'unico funzionante allo stesso posto è quello per lo scatto in manuale entro le velocità di sincro dell'otturatore.
Le funzioni ttl e fp (l'hss di Nikon) non andranno perché necessitano dei contatti aggiuntivi con la disposizione dedicata a Nikon. Non è un problema di compatibilità software, ma hardware...

Ok grazie provo in manuale poi in caso potrò aggiungere una fotocellula per usarlo in slave o no?

La modalità slave SL si può impostare sicuramente, però per poter funzionare correttamente serve un Metz 48AF 1 dedicato Nikon. Viceversa se il tuo flash è per Canon da qualche parte sul manuale troverai scritto che "il flash supporta il sistema senza fili Canon nel modo flash slave."
Quindi anche se il flash supporta la modalità slave e la tua Nikon supporta il sistema wireless non si capiscono perché non sono fatti l'uno per l'altro.
Comunque puoi sempre metterlo in vendita e comprarne uno specifico per Nikon ;-)
