Salve, sono possessore della amata A5100 ( utile per lo schermo ribaltabile) ed ho anche la nikon d7200 con obj 24 120 f4.
Sto valutando l'idea di vendere nikon ed ottica e prendere un'ottima sony.
Prevalenza video ( parliamo sempre di amatoriale) e poi foto .
Cosa consigliate?

Dipende quanto vuoi spendere e se vuoi rimanere in aps-c o puntare al fullframe. Potresti prendere a6300 guadagnandone in qualità e messa a fuoco rispetto alla a5100 ma perderesti lo schermo ribaltabile,oppure puntare su una sony a7/a7s

Potresti monetizzare la d5100 x la d5300 ottenendo una miglior gamma colore e dinamica, più punti af, uno schermo leggermente più grande, meno rumore digitale.
Per la parte video entrambe registrano video Full HD (1080p), ma la D5100 ha a un frame rate più basso :
1080p @ 60 fps vs 1080p @ 30 fps
Mi sembra che anche la d7200 abbia 1080p @ 60 fps ma non ha l'utile lcd (x video) e l'autofocus continuo

Ma perchè non dividi le due missioni? Nikon d7200 x fotografia e una videocamera seria per i video ?

Potresti pensare ad una a6300 con ottica 18-105 PZ (zoom motorizzato) che è una delle eccellenze per i video. Altrimenti come ti hanno già scritto A7/A7s per full frame.
