I will be pretty much surprised, if the owner will agree. It's messy, since the permalink contains the username or attached to it ID. Too much links to re-write manually. Even if it was possible, imagine, if 200 more users will request the same option. At the end of the day, it takes time and the time, as we all know, is the money.
