sigma or nikon at 70-200 lens

dear sirs
I am not a professional photographer , but photo a lot of portrait.
in my budget I can buy the sigma 70-200 2.8 lens os and Nikon D7000 camera or I can buy Nikon 70-200 VR 2 and use my old D 70 camera .
(I may upgrade my d70 in about year if I will not buy the D 90 or D7000)
what you suggest me to do ?

The D7000 is a great camera and the nikkor 70-200 a great lens, from my point of view is better to spend money in lenses and then in the camera. And maybe next yar you can buy the next D7000 refresh Sorriso

The Nikon 70-200vr is one of the best lens ever made and you would never go wrong with a 7000
