I have a Nikon D750 and I need a microphone but don`t know which to get. Either a shotgun type or the stereo type. Which would be best for filming steam trains.
I was thinking about the rode Video mic pro or the rode stereo mic pro. Has anybody used either of them or can advise me.

The Rode is a good microphone, it should work well; if you want you can also see the Zoom H1, it's external but it's a stereo mic.
