Grandangolare per escursionismo

Ciao a tutti.
Premetto che sono un escursionista a cui piace fotografare, non un fotografo. Spessissimo mi porto dietro il treppiede per fare foto di paesaggio quando arrivo ad una cima in montagna. Ho una Canon 650D con il suo obbiettivo 18-55 però inizia a starmi molto stretto in quanto la componente fotografica delle escursioni sta richiedendo prepotentemente spazio.
A questo punto mi piacerebbe prendere un grandangolare, ma il mio budget è veramente risicato (anche perchè vorrei comprare anche un "superzoom"). Avrei individuato il Canon 10-18 ed il Tamron 10-24: ognuno ha i suoi pregi e difetti, ma non so decidermi sulla scelta.

Canon costa meno (per i prezzi che ho trovato un 25-30%) pesa quasi la metà (ed in escursione è un parametro da considerare) ed è stabilizzato (anche se su treppiede non conta nulla, anzi).
Tamron, in compenso è molto più robusto (anche questo in escursione è un parametro da considerare), ha un'escursione focale leggermente maggiore e soprattutto è più luminoso.
