Ciao a tutti,
mi è sorto un dubbio, io ho una EOS 50D e prima di passare ad una full frame pensavo di acquistare un tele.
Con il Canon 100-400 f4.5-5.6 ii IS sulla 50D funziona l'AF e l'IS o non sono compatibili?

Tieni però presente che non funziona l'AF se metti il moltiplicatore perché sulla 50D l'AF funziona fino a f/5.6.

Ah ok grazie Guido, questo non lo sapevo!
Pensavo di non prenderne moltiplicatore al momento, quando passerò alla full frame ci penserò se prenderlo.

Ne approfitto per un'altra curiosità, ho visto che con la 5d mark III e presumo anche la prossima che uscirà è possibile replicare l'effetto crop 1.3x e 1.6x. Mi domandavo se ad alti ISO a 1.6x la qualità nell'immagine a livello di rumore rimane ottima essendo full frame il sensore o praticamente è equivalente ad alti ISO impostati su una 7D mark II?

La 5D3 non ha il crop on camera, devi ritagliare dopo. Quello lo ha la 5Ds/r.
Il crop corrispondente ad aps-c della 5D3 è per me inferiore per resa alla 7D2.

Ah perfetto allora mi confondevo con la 5Ds/r
Si penso anche io che ritagliando è migliore la 7D mark II rispetto la 5D mark III a 1.6x. Mentre con la 5Ds/r penso sia migliore. Se esce la 5D mark IV spero siano introdotte le modalità crop, sarebbero davvero comode se la resa restasse invariata!
