I know, it is strange question to ask what is a best camera. However, I am looking for suitable camera with 1.6 crop. I am not looking for a full frame camera, since I will loose on the zoom. I have been using a canon 550D along with 100-400, 100 mm macro, 50mm 1.4 canon lens. I mainly photograph wildlife including macro, concert (both music concert and classical dance concerts), and little bit of street photography. I am not too happy with the sharpness and colour accuracy of pictures. Since I am looking for a second camera now, could you suggest, what would suit me best. I hear D8 is on its way. Any idea?

Welcome on JuzaPhoto!

I use the 7D and I like it, but its image quality is essentially identical to the 550D, so if you want better image quality with a Canon SLR the only options are fullframe cameras or wait for the 7D MarkII (but there are no guarantee that it will be a big upgrade from the current 7D).

Thanks a lot Juza.

Is 60D or the newly launched 650D better interms of good focus, sharpness and image quality?

I have not tried yet the new 650D, while the 60D is identical in terms of image quality and its AF is a bit worse than 7D.
