problemi di esposimetro con ottiche vintage

Ciao a tutti spero di aver azzeccato la sezione, vi leggo parecchio ma scrivo poco, è arrivato il mio momento, ho provato a cercare in giro in rete ma nulla, chiedo se qualcuno mi possa aiutare.
Sono in possesso di qualche ottica vintage, e con l'anello adattatore senza chip, non danno nessun problema sulla 40d, esposimetro si difende tutto sommato bene.
Mi sono trovato spiazzato quando ho attacco la EOS 5 analogica, l'esposimetro non da segni di vita rimane a metà con un tempo di 1 sec. Se provo a spostare il diaframma manuale nessuna risposta, se vario i tempi si sposta ma non con una lettura corretta, in una giornata di piena luce, diaframma 2.8 il tempo non può esser 1 sec. (impostazione camera M).
qualcuno ha esperienze???

Nessuno???? Secondo voi posso risolvere con un adattatore con chip?
