problema messa a fuoco Vivitar 300 mm e Rokkor 35 mm

Salve a tutti,
qualche settimana fa ho acquistato in un mercatino due obiettivi messi parecchio male per 10 euro l'uno. Avevo voglia di provare diverse lunghezze focali e di smontare eventualmente gli obiettivi per pura curiosità.
Il Rokkor ha dei graffi molto evidenti sulla lente davanti, mentre il Vivitar sembra avere solo un puntino di muffa all'interno, ma ha comunque parecchi graffi all'esterno, cosa che mi fa pensare sia stato sbattuto pure lui a destra e sinistra senza la minima precauzione. Li ho provati entrambi e non riesco a capire perché nessuno dei due metta a fuoco. Nello specifico, con il Rokkor, se giro la ghiera da un estremo all'altro, la messa a fuoco cambia di pochissimo, e non cambia niente nemmeno aumentando o diminuendo la distanza dal soggetto. Con il Vivitar è più o meno lo stesso, solo un po' meglio.

Da cosa potrebbe dipendere?
Sono i graffi? Problemi di compatibilità con la Canon Eos 600d su cui sono montati? Sarà l'adattatore?
Preciso che sono perfettamente cosciente delle condizioni pessime di entrambi gli obiettivi; la mia è solo una curiosità "fine a sé stessa".

I graffi di per se non dovrebbero massacrare così tanto la messa a fuoco, a meno che la lente frontale non sia proprio smerigliata, e non mi pare il tuo caso. Che adattatore usi? Il Rokkor su Canon ha bisogno di un adattatore con lente per mettere a fuoco all'infinito - se usi un semplice adattatore ad anello puoi mettere a fuoco solo a distanza ravvicinata, mentre puntando su soggetti lontani come hai fatto tu non c'è niente da fare. Stesso discorso per il Vivitar se ha la stessa montatura del Minolta.

Certo da come li descrivi è anche possibile che siano stati trattati così male che all'interno rimangono solo macerie...
