Salve a tutti, da qualche tempo ho trasformato la mia canon 5d mark II in una fototrappola da lasciare nei boschi vicino a casa. Di tutte le attrezzature e variabili necessarie per questa tecnica fotografica il più grosso problema è sempre il flash. Uso il canon speedlite 430ex II collegato alla 5d via cavo per avere una illuminazione decentrata. La fototrappola deve rimanere nel bosco, al freddo, anche 3 o 4 giorni. Per risparmiare le batterie del flash potrei usare la modalità "sleepy mode" o ibernazione. Il problema è che nel caso la fotocamera viene attivata dal passaggio di un animale, questa non è in grado di attivare il flash che è in modalità "sleepy". Così disattivo questa funzione e lascio il flash acceso e attivo tutta la notte (sia il led che il display rimangono accesi). Così facendo, però, le batterie del flash durano soltanto una notte. Non c'è neanche l'affidabilità nel caso la fotocamera faccia scatti continui (magari una foto è illuminata e le altre 6 sono al buio). Qualcuno mi dice che per avere il flash sempre pronto questo deve essere in grado di avere una buona carica nel "capacitor"(non so come si dice in italiano). Ma leggendo le specifiche tecniche dei flash canon non si capisce quali possono avere una carica migliore.
Riassumendo: mi serve un flash che possa rimanere in standby per qualche giorno e che possa attivarsi istantaneamente quando richiesto dalla fotocamera e funzionare efficacemente anche con scatti a raffica.
