Dubbi sul Sony Zeiss 24-70 f4 + consiglio 50ino

Ciao a tutti :)
per Natale ho deciso di regalarmi la Sony a7II (abbandonando Nikon) e volevo affiancargli 2 lenti: uno zoom da "vacanza" e un normale luminoso. Da qui le mie domande:
1) Zeiss 24-70 f4 :
Sarei orientato a questo zoom come lente da usare nel 90% degli scatti mentre sono in vacanza ma, leggendo varie recensioni, in tanti non sono rimasti pienamente soddisfatti delle sue prestazioni e per questo mi son venuti dei dubbi... ma una lente Zeiss può esser davvero così "scarsa"?! Io alla qualità non voglio assolutamente rinunciare e, se spendo 1000euro per una lente, mi aspetto prestazioni ottime (non voglio dire eccelse ma nemmeno così così), no? Ad esempio, come resa (distorsione/definizione/etc...) è paragonabile al Nikon 24-70 f2.8 (tolta ovviamente la differente apertura)?
2) Fisso luminoso
Tolto lo Zeiss 55 f1.8, mi chiedevo che obiettivi luminosi (sui 50mm) potete consigliarmi come alternativa più economica? magari mantenendo l'autofocus (non so se sia possibile).
