Apro un topic a parte sotto consiglio di Juza.
Mi chiedevouna cosa: sul sito ufficiale dicono del 14 che nella nuova versione sono stati implementati i contatti canon per poter controllare esposizione e diaframmi dalla macchina. Vi risulta?
E' cambiato anche l'aspetto leggermente (filino rosso al posto di quello dorato).

Sarebbe bello fosse vero! L'ho avuto fino l'anno scorso e poi ho comprato il 16-35 IS..se lo facessero lo riprenderei sicuramente!!

@Wizzardo: quello della foto dovrebbe essere la versione Nikon. Lo riconosci dalla ghiera dei diaframmi con la doppia scala come le vecchie ottiche Nikkor.

La versione Canon con riga rossa non ha i contatti e comunque servirebbe un motore elettromagnetico per il diaframma, mentre in Nikon basta un collegamento meccanico a levetta.

A parte la dppia ghiera, coi contatti di lato come fa ad essere canon? Spero tu non abbia Canon... MrGreen . O non hai mai smontato l'obiettivo dalla macchina.

Non se ne è ma i parlato, non mi pare ci siano nemmeno rumors in merito.

Lo trovi su ebay nuovo col chip già montato. Di più non trovi.

L'ho trovato in passato. Adesso non ne ho idea. Ma è comunque un qualcosa di posticcio.
Ti arriva così, ma qualcuno l'ha montato e non in fabbrica.

Ma pensa, hanno ridisegnato tutta la parte posteriore per metterci la parte elettronica. Interessante, anche se forse sarebbe più utile sulle focali più lunghe (il primo in versione Canon con chip ecc credo sia stato il 35mm).
