ho trovato online quest' ottica specificato "manual"..vorrei montarla sulla D700 è possibile??perderei qualcosa?
si tratta inoltre della fantastica ottica AF-S ???

se è specificato "manual" credo che l'ottica cha hai trovato tu sia questa:

è possibile montarla sulla D700 perdendo, naturalmente, l'autofocus

ovviamente no proprio perchè non è AF, non esistono ottiche AI che siano AF.
Le AI e AIS sono solo esclusivamente MF

errore di scrittura volevo dire se si tratta del AI-S

il privato che lo ha messo in vendita dice che si tratta

Queste ottiche su una D700 funzionano splendidamente. L'esemplare in vendita non mi sembra freschissimo, - tieni presente che potrebbe avere 30 anni o giù di lì - bisognerebbe controllare la pulizia delle lenti guardandole con una torcia e verificando i movimenti meccanici delle ghiere. Se ben tenuto può valere la spesa richiesta e darti molte soddisfazioni.

Allora... anche se in grande è scritto Nikon 28mm f/2,8 AI
dal numero di serie e dalla conformazione del barilotto ti posso confermare che è un Ai-S
il più pregiato dei Nikkor 28mm f/2,8 (8 lenti in 8 gruppi)
poi c'era il 28mm f/2,8 Ai (7 lenti in 7 gruppi)
e il più cheap 28mm f/2,8 Series E (5 lenti in 5 gruppi)

Il prezzo non è male ma dalla sporcizia Eeeek!!!

che c'è sulla lente anteriore non riesco a valutare le condizioni dell'obiettivo. Per avere un'idea più precisa della lente in questione: www.kenrockwell.com/nikon/28f28ais.htm
