Ciao a tutti!
Ad agosto andrò in Namibia e vorrei acqiostare un buon tele che mi permetta di fotografare gli animali anche da lontano.
Il mio budget è intorno alle 450-500€. Possiedo una canon 6d ma anche una aps-c, di cui potrei sfruttare il fattore di crop.
Cosa mi consigliate?

Ciao, io andrò in Sud - africa. ..Kruger Park. Ho la 6d e giusto ieri mi son preso il pompone, usato. Se ti interessa mi avanza il Tamron 700-300 VCD ;-)

Io ti suggerirei il tamron 70-300... Ho appena preso il fratellone 150-600 e sono rimasto sorpreso del vc, meglio anche dell'is di canon secondo me... Come qualità lo avevo provato tempo addietro ed era ottimo... In alternativa il canon 70-200f4, lo ho avuto e lo reputo un ottica eccezionale... Usato su aps-c lo useresti molto bene per animali e usato su FF diventa ottimo per il ritratti e reportage... Anzi redigo il suggerimento... Vai di canon 70-200f4 e vedrai che non te ne troverai pentito

quando andai, ormai molti anni fa, avevo con me un 70-300 che tenevo su un corpo ed un Sigma 500 f. 7.2 APO fisso sull'altro.
Grazie solo a quest'ultimo ho potuto fotografare con possibilità di vedere decentemente vicini animali piccoli e sfuggenti come le mellivore, nei pressi dell'Etosha, oppure fare primi piani di animali media stazza come l'otocione (se vuoi questa foto l'ho postata).
In generale, per il safari servono lunghi fuochi; da quando esiste il digitale, poter usare un sensore APSC che funge da moltiplicatore 1,5X aiuta non poco.

Se ti servono i 100mm in più è l'IS vai tranquillo col Tamron 70-300 altrimenti se vuoi qualità e un AF fulmineo il canon 70-200 F4 è il top. Ti parlo da possessore di entrambi. Ho avuto fino a poco fa il Tamron che ho venduto per il canon. Anche se il Tamron è molto buono non si può paragonare al 70-200. Tieni anche presente che il Tamron da 250 a 300 non è il massimo? e devi chiudere almeno a F8.
