Dopo aver provato silkypix 3, in dotazione con la k30, sono rimasto un po deluso in termini di velocita' e mi sono orientato su altro software, mi trovo molto bene con Faststone image viewer con cui regolo i livelli, dettaglio e ritaglio se necessario infine esporto in tiff per eventuale fotoscioppaggio uso PhotoInstrument molto semplice ed intuitivo.

Silkypix, di cui si può scaricare l'aggiornamento dal sito pentax, è esclusivamente un software di postproduzione ma non di fotoritocco. Per i livelli, il ritaglio etc serve un software di fotoritocco. Io uso Corel Photopaint dal 1997 e l'ho aggiornato soltanto due anni fa.
Detto questo, se il file jpeg è originale Pentax puoi fare le stesse regolazioni senza aprire il file PEF o DNG prodotto dalla tua reflex.
Il file raw originale (PEF o DNG) può essere manipolato al 100% soltanto con Silkypix perché è un file prioritario Pentax, quindi non c'è altro software, anche il famoso Adobe, che può permetterti ad esempio la regolazione in modalità pellicola invertibile dal momento che questa impostazione c'è soltanto sulle Pentax.
Poi che sia pesante e serva un computer con molta memoria questo è un altro discorso. Comunque se usi Silkypix e apri i file jpeg puoi farci tutte le regolazioni che vuoi. Ma attenzione deve essere un file originale altrimenti non ti permette alcuna modifica.

Io utilizzo LR4 e i file raw sono impostati già sulla fotocamera come DNG. Per quello che ne capisco trovo LR4 un buon prodotto di sviluppo, un pò particolare per quello che riguarda la gestione dei file.
