16-35 f4 alcune considerazioni da profano pre acquisto

Ciao a tutti, apro un nuovo 3d ma la domanda puo essere simile a quella di cismog.
Anch'io sono alla ricerca di un grandangolare per fare piu sul serio nei paesaggi ed abbandonare il 24-105 per questo utilizzo.
Sono convinto del nuovo 16-35 f4 rispetto al f 2.8 ma vi chiedo se le mie considerazioni sono corrette ed una mano per capire come si comporterà nei nightscape anche se saranno rari.
- Maggior nitidezza ai bordi che lo rende migliore del 2.8 per paesaggi
- Stabilizzatore che lo rende migliore nel reportage nonostante il 2.8 sia piu veloce...

Tema nightscape:
Premetto che non mi piacciono gli star trail, voglio stelle perfettamente tonde e definite!!!
considerando la regola dei 600 dovrò stare sotto i 35 sec a f4... con che iso fotograferò? È vero che la mia 6d è ottima ad alti iso ma se dovro scattare a 12800 quanto potro recuperare in pp? È corretto pensare che il 16-35 f4 sia comunque migliore anche per questo tipo di foto dato che ho visto in giro che il 2.8 si comporta male ai bordi soffrndo di coma? Avrebbe poco senso avere la possibilita di scattare nella meta del tempo per poi ottenere lo stesso effetto mosso delle stelle causato dall'effetto coma...
Che ne dite...16-35 f4?
