Confusione sulla sostituzione del sigma 17-50 2.8

Buongiorno,
Da circa un mese possiedo un sigma 17-50 2.8 ma solo ultimamente mi sono accorto che in prossimità dei bordi cala notevolmente in nitidezza (a tutte le focali), all'inizio pensavo di poter correggere la cosa in post-produzione poi purtroppo ho capito che non ne sono in grado.
Alla fine ho deciso di mandare in dietro l'obiettivo ad amazon per la sostituzione ma sono sincero, ho paura di avere un altro obiettivo fallato.

Nel mio cervello attualmente ci sono due decisioni:
-optare per il 17-70 2.8-4.0 (c) che dicono non risentire dei problemi ottici del 17-50
-comprare usato un canon 24-105 f4 L (aggiungendoci una piccola differenza)
-Niente tamron perchè ho bisogno della stabilizzazione e il 17-50 stab. tamron è meno nitido dei due sopracitati

Ovviamente i problemi sono i seguenti:
.Nessuno dei due è luminoso come il 17-50 2.8
.Se dovessi avere problemi con il 17-70 sarei costretto rimandarlo indietro o a comprare il dock usb per ri-settarlo
.Il signore che mi venderebbe il 24-105 ha l'obiettivo dal 2009 e ci ha fatto circa 100.000 scatti senza mai farci manutenzione perchè dice che è in condizioni "perfette" Eeeek!!!

Ho le idee confuse e non so che fare, voi cosa consigliate????
