riki, avevi (purtroppo) una copia marcia.

che a 1.4 la resa sia impastata (la famosa velatura sferica) rispetto all'art e al 35L2 è indubbio, ma è proprio questa caratteristica (che a 2.0 scompare) il valore inimitabile di questa lente.

i casi sono due, o avevi una copia marcia o non hai compreso (preferito) il valore del 35L.

Sulla prima 5d la resa del 35 f1.4 L usm dovrebbe essere già ottima a f2, in termini di nitidezza percepita. Considerato il pixel pitch, dovrebbe essere sufficiente un'ottica che risolva fino a 30 lp/mm con un buon livello di microcontrasto, per dare la percezione di nitidezza, e ciò è alla portata di molte ottiche. Persino con il vetusto ef 17-35 f2.8 L usm, a f2.8, le immagini apparivano sorprendentemente nitide, al centro del fotogramma.

Il problema si ha quando l'ottica non è correttamente calibrata, dato che gli errori di messa a fuoco possono portare a credere che il problema sia insito nella scarsa resa della parte ottica del'obiettivo.

Sarebbe auspicabile fare eseguire una taratura dell'accoppiata fotocamera obiettivo, anche perché la 5d non è dotata della microregolazione af.

Ho fatto tarare il mio esemplare in cs subito dopo averlo acquistato poiché pativa di un marcato front focus (+20 su 5D Mkll, fatto tarare su Mkl per la nota assenza di microtaratura).
La resa è molto buona da f/1,8 per divenire eccellente sopra f/2.
Non dico che sia una brutta lente, anzi la adoro, la trovo molto più "calda" del sigma.
Ma a tutta apertura fa un pò cacare, per dirla schietta.
