Ciao vorrei chiedervi un consiglio tra le due teste manfrotto, visto che ho preso usato un 055xprob vorrei sapere secondo voi quale dei due è più adatto in particolare per foto panoramiche e notturne. Si accettano consigli su alternative di ugual livello.

ciao Davide, ho un vecchio manfrotto art. 144 ( il nonno dello 055 ) con testa a sfera mod. 168 ( regge 9 kg. ), mi toccava sempre correggere l'inquadratura. dopo lunghe ricerche sul web mi sono deciso per la 808rc4 testa molto ben fatta e solida e, cosa più importante, una volta posizionata è precisa e non devo correggere l'inquadratura come con la testa a sfera, in più ha due bolle per mettere la fotocamera in linea, cosa importante per paesaggi ma anche per architettura, unico difetto il peso 1.4 kg che aggiunti ai 2.3 kg del 144 fanno 3.7 kg, ma un cavalletto e la testa si comprano una sola volta e durano per sempre.

Io ho la 498 RC2 proprio sullo 055XPROB. Che dire, io mi ci trovo bene ma non faccio foto panoramiche. La regolazione dell'asse pano indipendente e' utile ma basta una minima inclinazione e ti tocca correggere anche gli altri assi sbloccando la sfera ricominciando cosi tutto dall'inizio.
La frizione e' veramente utile ma migliorabile: tenendola serrata al massimo non fa spostare neanche il 70-200 f2.8. Peccato che sia poco fluida nell'intervento: bastano pochi mm per passare dal serraggio max a quello minimo
Per i generi citati ti consiglierei quindi la 804 ma dalla sua la 498 ha un minore ingombro laterale pur essendo abbastanza alta.
