Io penso che non abbia aggiunto il WR all'aggiornamento per due motivi:
Mantenere la semplicità di costruzione e magari perderne in dimensioni e soprattutto per non cambiare linee produttive (non credo l'abbiano fatto solo per metterci un anello rosso invece che verde :) )

Immagino sopratutto per non cambiare linee produttive, d'altra parte i nuovi Limited HD sono otticamente identici e cambiare il diaframma è più semplice di Tropicalizzarli che equivale a progettare un nuovo obiettivo.

La serie DA limited punta tradizionalmente su due cose, qualità ottica estrema e massima compattezza.. Credo che il 35 sia il miglior esempio di questa filosofia.. Il rovescio è la mancanza di feature come sdm o wr e aperture non estreme(che farebbero perdere compattezza).. Guarda anche il 21.. È un f/3.5 ma è un ottica da street veramente molto apprezzata!

Credo che sarebbe possibile anche tropicalizzarli senza aumentarne particolarmente le dimensioni, ma ci vorrebbe una riprogettazione con conseguenti costi.
