Salve,
sono agli inizi, ho una reflex da meno di 2 mesi, tante idee e molto confuse :)
adesso ho una Nikon d7100.
Mi piacciono le foto naturalistiche, dai panorami alle macro, e mi piacerebbe provare a fare qualche foto fauna quando vado in montagna a fare escursioni.
in prima battuta avevo addocciato il sigma 60-600, poi l'ho visto dal vivo e mi sono reso conto delle dimensioni e del peso, scartato perché troppo impegnativo come ingombri e KG.
Adesso stavo puntando ad uno zoom da 400mm, mi sto orientando solo sull'usato, anche perché rischio che si tratti solo di una prova e poi magari di abbandonare l'esperimento. Ho quindi adocchiato i 2 obbiettivi del titolo, che si trovano a meno di 400 il Sigma e a po' più di 900 il Nikon, vorrei qualche consiglio in merito, qualcuno mi può aiutare?
inoltre mi chiedevo se con entrambi potesse valere la pena sfruttare un tele converte da 1.4, ho capito che perderei uno stop e un po' di nitidezza, non ho capito se perdo autofocus o meno e in generale non so se è un'esagerazione o se può essere utile.
Alla fine il teleconverter sono soltanto 200 gr di peso e poco ingombro, ma un 40% in più di focale, che tra APSC e teleconverter mi farebbe raggiungere una focale equivalente di 850mm f8, ma mi sembra di capire che mi converrebbe chiudere almeno uno stop e quindi fotografare a f11 effettiva.

Spero di non aver fatto domande troppo stupide.

Lascia perdere quei due.
Piuttosto valuta Sigma 100-400 o equivalente Tamron, che sono onesti obiettivi. Non userei moltiplicatore di focale su questi zoom. Considera anche Sigmac150-600 contemporary, che ti permette di arrivare a 600 mm.
